The weather is good
for outdoor activities, below 100 in the summer, and
snow never stays on valley floor more than a day or two.
The elevation is approximately 4,000. The overall property
encompasses a broad grassland valley, upland meadows,

mountain pine forests, and an extensive wilderness area.
It is about 32 miles to Mojave, 48 miles to
Bakersfield, 68 miles to Palmdale and 110 miles to Los
Angeles. On the valley floor of

formed Bear Valley Springs Yacht Club. The community
