Creek, California,

23 miles east of San
Francisco, with a
population of approximately
100,000. A bedroom community
that, as few as thirty years
ago, was known mainly for
its network of creeks and
acres of walnut groves. Over
the years it has
blossomed from a quiet suburb
into a bustling city. It has
become a shopping and
cultural hub for the
communities east of San
Francisco. While there is no
heavy industry in Walnut
