DESCRIPTION:

Sunflower Farm is located in Palm City Farms and is known as an agricultural district. At one time cattle grazed the land and natural beautiful palm trees grew in abundance. I am sure this is where Palm City got its name. Martin County exercises great efforts to preserve the county's growth so that it will remain beautiful and lush.

Everyday at Sunflower Farm Sand Hill Cranes fly over the main house to join other birds at the lake. What a beautiful sound. Since Palm City is mainly agricultural, by no means does that mean convenient shopping and dining is far away. Some of the best gourmet markets are in Palm City and just 3 miles from Sunflower Farms. Gourmet dining is a few minutes away as well as great beaches on Hutchinson Island. Bath Tub Beach is enjoyed by many everyday. Martin County's school is rated at the top in the state. Stuart has Martin Memorial Hospital and has just added a new Heart Center. It seems that one has it all at Sunflower Farm.

The Main home was built in 2002 from the inspiration of an old Key West Mansion in Key West that was taken over by Pirates in 1850. The interior goes on and on with such detail. Carved molding, transums, paneled wood library, gourmet kitchen, up stairs kitchen and two laundry rooms, a mud room, three large bedrooms with ensuites and a large gym.

The Guest house is a perfect place for parties with friends. After all, the Barn is where the action is found. The Barn offers plenty of room for grooming the horses once they are brought in from their beautiful green paddock. Sunflower Farms has been a breeding farm for American Warmbloods.
